Introducing the ANTS Alumni Network: Why Our Graduates Stay Connected for Life
Why staying connected matters
Ever wondered what happens after you finish your course? For plenty of people in aged care, it’s easy to feel a bit alone once the certificate’s in your hand. We know. At ANTS, we reckon that’s not good enough.
That’s why we’re proud to launch the ANTS Alumni Network — a proper community for all our graduates. It’s our way of making sure your support doesn’t stop when you get your CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or your CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
You’re part of something bigger — and it lasts for life.
More than a piece of paper
When you study with ANTS, you walk away with more than just the paperwork you need for work. You get people in your corner.
A mate of mine said once: “I got my cert, but then what? No one tells you how to grow once you’re out there.” Too right. It’s a challenge — aged care can feel isolated, especially in smaller facilities or regional spots.
The ANTS Alumni Network changes that. We’ve built it so you always have someone to swap ideas with, ask for advice, or even hear about the next job.
So, what do you get?
Here’s the beauty — you don’t even need to sign up. If you studied with ANTS, you’re in. It’s automatic.
What’s in it for you?
- Career support: Stay in the loop for professional development, new skills and industry trends.
- Networking: Connect with other grads, near or far.
- Mentoring: Get help from people who’ve walked the same path — or offer it back if you’re ready.
- Job opportunities: Our alumni share openings, referrals, and tips you won’t find on job boards.
And you’ll hear about all this in our Alumni Newsletter, dropping four times a year.
It’s a big difference from other colleges
Plenty of private colleges will train you, hand you a cert, and say good luck. That’s fine if you’re happy going it alone.
ANTS is different. We take what works at top universities — the idea that you belong to something — and we make it happen here, for real people working in real care jobs.
It’s the hidden value you don’t always see on a course brochure, but you feel it every time you open an email from an old classmate or meet someone new through our network.
For current students — and your mates
If you’re still studying, this is your heads up: you’re about to graduate into a ready-made support crew. Not once. Not twice. Every step of the way.
And if you know a mate thinking about training in aged care? Maybe they’re not sure which provider to choose. Show them this. Let them see why studying at ANTS means you don’t just get in the door — you stay moving forward, with people who’ve got your back.
What’s next?
Keep an eye on your inbox for the first Alumni Newsletter — it’ll have updates, real stories, and maybe a few familiar faces. We’ll share ways to stay involved, keep learning, and help each other out.
So stick around, say g’day, and help us grow this community together. Seems worth a shot, right?
